# Last Click → Master Desk — think-hard pack
**Date:** 2026-09-08 · **Seat:** TUI Eve · think hard
**Status:** PROPOSAL — needs Michael’s yes by phase. Do not ship www. Local computer Never unless stamped.

Truth labels: **CONFIRMED** = on this machine / docs today · **assumption** · **projection**

---

## 0. What you already have (CONFIRMED)

| Piece | Reality |
|--------|---------|
| Last Click | `Desktop/LOOK_AT_THESE/LAST_CLICK.html` — Keep/Hold/Decline + localStorage pack · Firefox looker |
| Homepage | Eve locked · April = prompt sub · Madison rainbow = Build |
| CoS | Eve routes faculties (Riley, Esther, Harper paper, Ada, Kit…) · `EVE_COS_PROFILE.md` |
| Meter | SuperGrok Heavy ~75% · 15-min Drive routines to pause · Cursor Pro $20 is not an upgrade |
| Local box | **20 cores · ~62 GiB RAM** (plenty for a small local workforce) |
| Lanes | TUI Eve ≠ Grok Bot ≠ Grok Desktop · Bots branch OPEN · Texano_Shop on eve@ |
| Brain idea | Already filed: Eve = cortex · bots = faculties (`Branches/Bots/00_Start/EVE_BRAIN_AND_TEXANO_PLAN.md`) |

**Gap:** the board is a stamp sheet, not yet a **login desk** with live queue + worker status + spend routing.

---

## 1. North star (one sentence)

**One Firefox desk:** you walk a single approval queue; Eve is Chief of Staff; faculties show as workers; spend is routed so SuperGrok Heavy is not the only brain; nothing ships without your last click.

---

## 2. Architecture that is honest (not fantasy)

### What works
1. **Queue UI (HTML)** — reorder Last Click so “Waiting on you” is the only primary list. Looks stay. Cards collapse after Keep/Hold/Decline.
2. **Status bus (files)** — TUI / Bot Eve write JSON into a known folder; the HTML polls it. Same pattern as mail-loop inbox files. No magic embed required.
3. **Dialogue** — stays in **TUI Eve** (this room) or **Bot Eve** for cloud plugins. Dashboard shows *state*, not a second CoS brain inside the page.
4. **Worker rows** — faculty name · job · status (`waiting_on_you` / `running` / `done` / `blocked`) · spend lane (`tui` / `bot` / `gemini` / `local` / `gcp`).

### What does *not* work (yet)
- Dropping a live Grok terminal *into* static HTML with no bridge.
- Assigning **literal CPU cores** to Angels as if they were containers — without a job runner.
- Letting Gemini / GCP make CoS decisions or touch Hub / case / family.

### “Cores” — correct metaphor
- **Local job slots** = how many heavy local tasks may run at once (e.g. 2–3 of 20 logical CPUs reserved for agents; leave headroom for you + Comfy).
- **Cloud seats** = Bot Eve + optional Gemini researcher + optional GCP burst — *counted*, not infinite.
- Personality = **prompt + lane + folder**, not a VM per Angel on day one.

---

## 3. Phased build (stamp each phase)

### Phase 1 — Approval desk (1 sitting · local HTML only)
**Goal:** same look, queue-first spine.
**Do:**
- Split UI: **Needs your yes** (open) · **Locked / Keep** · **Hold** · **Decline**
- One active card expanded; rest compact
- Dock: Copy pack · Show pack · (later) Write pack to `LAST_CLICK_PACK.md`
- Rail: open count, Bot meter note, live-www HOLD, Eve/April/Madison locks

**Do not:** analytics pixels, Gemini, GCP, embed chat.
**Yes needed:** “Build Phase 1.”

### Phase 2 — Status bus (small local glue)
**Goal:** board updates when work moves — without you refreshing from chat memory.
**Schema (projection — lock on build):**
```json
{
  "updated": "ISO-8601",
  "meter_note": "Bot ~75% Heavy",
  "live_www": "hold",
  "queue": [{ "id": "april_prompt", "stamp": "decline", "note": "..." }],
  "workers": [{
    "who": "Harper",
    "job": "Pick analytics tool",
    "status": "waiting_on_you",
    "lane": "paper"
  }]
}
```
**Path (proposal):** `Desktop/LOOK_AT_THESE/state/desk.json` (+ optional `machine.json` for CPU/RAM).
**Writers:** TUI Eve after packs; optional tiny local script for `nproc`/mem.
**Reader:** Last Click `fetch` every 3–5s (file:// may need a tiny local static server — stamp that if Firefox blocks).

**Yes needed:** “Build Phase 2” + allow a **local read-only status script** (still not “local computer Never” for Bot — TUI-side only).

### Phase 3 — Workforce view
**Goal:** feel like a company floor.
**Do:** worker table from CoS roster; Eve assigns; you only see items in `waiting_on_you` or `blocked`.
**Simultaneous cloud fires:** default **Eve + 1–2 owners** (already in CoS profile).
**Local slots:** start at **2** concurrent heavy jobs; raise only if machine stays cool.

**Yes needed:** “Show workforce row” + slot count.

### Phase 4 — Harper analytics (live site — separate from mock board)
**Recommendation (projection, strong):**
| Need | Pick |
|------|------|
| Daily “did anyone come / which page” | **Plausible Cloud** (~$9/mo @ 10k pv) or **Umami/Plausible CE** self-host later |
| Ads / Google ecosystem attribution | **GA4** *in addition*, not instead |
| Product funnels / replay | PostHog later — not day one |

**Why Plausible-first for TexanoAI public:** cookieless, light script, scannable in 30s, matches sovereignty posture; GA4 is free but heavy (consent, learning curve, ad-blocker holes).
**Rule:** no live pixels until you last-click tool + domain. Harper owns the *desk*; Esther does not own pixels.

**Yes needed:** Plausible vs GA4 vs both · which domain · when.

### Phase 5 — Spend maximization (Gemini + GCP + existing subs)

#### A. Route work by lane (CONFIRMED intent + projection)
| Lane | Use | Never |
|------|-----|--------|
| **TUI Eve** | CoS, Hub, Last Click, local build, legal/forensic when think-hard | Unattended 15-min loops |
| **Grok Bot Eve** | Shop group, Drive/mail/calendar when stamped, short cloud packs | Deep research every hour · Hub root |
| **Gemini (sub + API)** | Public-web research, drafts, Google-land image/song/video | CoS · Hub · case · family · send/post |
| **GCP** | Burst compute (Cloud Run jobs, batch, later GPU after paid upgrade) | Always-on idle VMs · surprise egress |
| **Local Envy** | Stills, speech, Comfy, status bus, Last Click | Bot “local computer” plugin |

#### B. Gemini — how to take advantage without making it boss
1. **Consumer Gemini / AI Pro (subscription you already pay):** Deep Research, NotebookLM, image/video *experiments* in the Google UI — human or Eve-directed paste, not autonomous CoS.
2. **Gemini API key on this machine (not done yet — CONFIRMED gap):** siloed researcher desk. Public prompts only. Output lands in `LOOK_AT_THESE/` or `Texano_Shop/research/` — never Hub.
3. **Privacy:** free API tier may use prompts to improve Google products; enable billing / paid if you need opt-out — check current AI Studio billing notes before production secrets.
4. **$300 GCP Welcome credit:** official docs say it **cannot** pay Gemini API in AI Studio; use Gemini free tier or separate Gemini billing. Use the $300 for **compute/storage/run**, not as “free Gemini Pro API.”

#### C. GCP — what to actually do (official Free Program, docs 2026-09-03)
**If eligible (never paid GCP/Maps/Firebase before):**
- Free Trial: **$300 / 90 days** · not billed during trial · card for identity
- Always Free (with billing account): e2-micro (US regions), 5 GB GCS, Cloud Run 2M req, BigQuery 1 TiB queries, etc.
- Trial limits: **no GPUs** until upgrade to Paid; Marketplace limited; credit ≠ Gemini API Studio

**Day-0 safety (non-negotiable before any VM):**
1. Budget alerts 50 / 80 / 100%
2. Kill switch: disable billing on project or delete idle disks / IPs
3. One project: `texano-burst` (name TBD) — not mixed with personal photos
4. Prefer **Cloud Run jobs** / short batch over always-on Compute
5. e2-micro Always Free = fine for a tiny status relay or Umami later — **not** for Comfy/GPU

**Comfy / heavy vision:** stay local first (you have RAM). GCP GPU only after Paid upgrade + explicit stamp + budget cap.

#### D. Other underused Google (projection — stamp later)
- **Search Console** on live domain (when ship) — free demand signal
- **Workspace** automation for eve@ *drafts only* (already: draft, never send)
- **NotebookLM** for public research packs (no Hub dumps)
- **YouTube** only if content lane opens
- **reCAPTCHA Free Tier** if forms go live
- Do **not** rclone Hub onto eve_drive (already locked)

---

## 4. Maximizing spend without maximizing burn

**Principle:** pay once for capacity; **route** so the expensive weekly Bot bar is not the default hammer.

1. **Pause unattended Bot Routines** (inventory paste already written in `EVE_ROUTINES_AND_METER.md`) — biggest meter win.
2. **Cheap model for lists / packs**; heavy only for legal, culture, architecture, real research fights.
3. **Gemini for volume research/media** you already subscribe to — offloads Grok.
4. **GCP for burst**, not babysitting.
5. **Local 20-core / 62 GB** for parallel *local* jobs before cloud.
6. **Do not buy Cursor Pro $20** as a Bot substitute.

---

## 5. Embedded dialogue — practical path

| Approach | Verdict |
|----------|---------|
| iframe Grok web inside Last Click | Fragile · Chrome fight · not CoS-safe |
| “Terminal in HTML” via xterm.js talking to local grok | Possible later · needs local bridge daemon · stamp as Phase 6 |
| **Split screen:** Firefox Last Click + Eve TUI window | **Do this now** — zero new risk |
| Bot Eve chat as cloud dialogue; board mirrors stamps | Already true |

**Recommendation:** Phase 1–3 without embed. Phase 6 only if the file bus feels too slow.

---

## 6. Login / open-computer ritual (lightweight)

**Projection — your “when I sit down”:**
1. Desktop shortcut → Firefox opens `LAST_CLICK.html` (or tiny local server URL)
2. Eve TUI already running (or one click Eve icon)
3. Rail shows: open yes-count · meter · workers · machine load
4. You clear queue top-down · Copy pack once · Eve executes

No second OS. No twelve apps.

---

## 7. What I need stamped (after your current queue)

When you finish today’s Last Click stamps, last-click these redesign items (or say Hold):

| ID | Ask | Default if silent |
|----|-----|-------------------|
| D1 | Build **Phase 1** queue-first Last Click | Hold |
| D2 | Allow **Phase 2** `state/desk.json` bus (TUI writes) | Hold |
| D3 | Analytics: Plausible / GA4 / both / later | later |
| D4 | Gemini API key on machine as **researcher only** | Hold |
| D5 | Check GCP Free Trial eligibility + budget alerts (no VM yet) | Hold |
| D6 | Local concurrent job slots = 2 | 2 |
| D7 | Embedded terminal Phase 6 interest | later |

---

## 8. Immediate next moves (after *this* shop queue)

1. You finish Keep/Hold/Decline on the current board · Copy pack
2. Paste routines inventory to Bot Eve (meter)
3. Say **yes D1** → I reshape Last Click queue-first same session or next
4. Parallel (cheap): Harper one-pager Plausible vs GA4 for *your* domain posture
5. Parallel (you): create Gemini API key when you stamp D4 — I wire silo instructions, not CoS

---

## 9. Risks (say them plain)

- **file:// fetch** may block Phase 2 until a tiny local server — we’ll stamp that explicitly
- **GCP surprise bills** after trial if disks/IPs left alive — budgets + kill habit
- **Gemini free tier** data-use policy — don’t paste Hub/case
- **Too many named Bots firing** burns Heavy faster than one CoS + skills — skill-first stays

---

*Eve — Chief of Staff. You last-click. I route.*
