# Gemini researcher silo

- Key: `~/.config/eve/gemini.env` (chmod 600) — not on Desktop
- Runner: `LOOK_AT_THESE/gemini_research.py`
- Outputs: `LOOK_AT_THESE/research/gemini/`
- Role: public research only — not CoS, not Hub/case/family

**Status 2026-09-08:** Key retained. Smoke test auth works, but API returns **429 prepayment credits depleted**. Top up at [AI Studio projects](https://ai.studio/projects) (Buy credits / prepaid) before jobs run. Subscription ≠ this prepaid jar.
